On February 02, 2023 Juan was a victim of a cardiac arrest. At the time he was employed with State Farm, so he was under their group health plan. Shortly after his heart attack he left his job due to his health. Juan is currently unemployed, and recently applied to a marketplace health plan but the premiums are super expensive. His heart attack medication is very expensive if he paid it out of pocket. His life relies a lot of this medication. It helps by preventing platelets from collecting and forming clots that may cause another heart attack or stroke. Juan needed help to pay his monthly premium due to unemployment and not wanting to add another bill to his wife that she can’t afford. Thanks to Mankind supporters, Mankind was able to help Juan and hopefully his spirits will be lifted enough to work again.
